When we finally figure out a way to squeeze in a training session into our busy life, we face the next challenge: How can we shorten our warm up?
Admittedly, we are like suited up bunnies from Lisa's Wonderland. Even if we are not efficient, we enjoy feeling efficient. Shortening our warm up is one way to satisfy this need, while simultaneously justifying our laziness. I've found that for lower body training, one stretch is the minimum. Yes, just one stretch to wake up just the right muscle groups.
I do not recommend using only this stretch, but I know how it is when your lunch hour is one second short of 60 minutes. Check out the video below on how to do the stretch. You can do it with a band or for instance with a towel.
