The most resistance in a weighted exercise occurs at the bottom of the movement. By using bands or chains we can increase the resistance at the top of the movement. This is demonstrated with a back kick in the video below.
The back kick with bands is a great warm up movement, especially for the glutes. You can perform this either standing or on the knees.
